All entries are eligible for this award.
2. The Teletalk Award - Acquisitive $3000
An oil or acrylic painting depicting ITC (Information Technology and Communication).
3. The Cairns Post Portrait Award - Acquisitive $2000
A portrait painting, any medium.
4. The Bendigo Bank Award - Acquisitive $2000
A Still-life painting, any subject, any medium.
5. The Cairns Port Authority Award - Acquisitive $2000
A Representational painting, acrylic or water based medium, any subject.
6. The Cairns Discount Framing Award Acquisitive $2,000
A three-dimensional sculpture, any medium.
7. The Ron Ireland Award - Acquisitive $1,800
A Traditional watercolour painting, any subject.
8. The Federal Member for Leichhardt Award, Warren Entsch MP
Acquisitive $2,000. Cairns Art Society members only. A Traditional painting, depicting
a Far North Queensland landscape or seascape.
9. The Lou Piccone Family Award - Acquisitive $2,000
A Traditional painting, depicting a historic landmark of Far North Queensland, any medium.
10. The Restaurant 77 Award - Acquisitive $1,000
A Traditional pastel painting, any subject.
11. The Qantas Award Acquisitive A return trip to Sydney for two people
(value $1200, taxes not included). A three-dimensional work depicting flight, any medium.
12. Roland Graf Auto Centre Award Acquisitive $450
For a drawing in charcoal, pencil, pastel mediums - any subject
